How do I use the price seeker option on a jobcard?

This article explains how you can use the price seeker function to specify a nett or gross price on a jobcard. This option can be applied to some or all job items including labour.

Follow this article to book parts to the job.
- Whilst in the [Invoice] tab of the job, press <Ctrl+F7>.
- Press <U> to untag any items to exclude from the price seeker.
- Click [Seek].
- Enter EITHER the "Nett" price for the tagged items OR zero out the "Nett" price and enter the "Total" price you wish to set for the tagged items (you cannot have both filled in else it cannot calculate prices).
- Click [Calculate].
- The function will ratio the price you wish to set across the tagged items.
- The right hand side of the screen will show the totals for the tagged items and the total for all items on the job. If you are happy with the pricing click [Done].
You can use the price seeker to set the price of a standard job. Make sure when you save the standard job you set the "Update Pricing?" flag to 'No'. |
You can only use the price seeking option once per jobcard. |
