Why is my specific month centre report showing zeroes?

Summary

If, while you are going through your month end and you find that the "Specific Month Cost Centre Report" is showing zeroes, this means that the Nominal Ledger Update has not been run.

More Information

The most common reason for this is changing the "Update Nominal" drop down to 'No' when carrying out the Print Daybook option as part of the Sales or Purchase Ledger month end.

The way to resolve this is as follows:

Go to " Reports & Settings Set New Financial Period".

  • Make sure the financial period is set to the correct month.

Go to " Sales Ledger OR Purchase Ledger Maintenance Options Nominal Ledger Update".

The system will warn you that it is not advised to update this way but just press [Yes] to continue.
  • Then re-run your "Specific Month Cost Centre Report" and the figures will appear.
