ST02 - Stock Description (Stock Control Data Import variable)

Syntax

ST02{0-3, D/F, word-delimiters}

Description

One of three possible lines of Item Description, the whole description or the flags which indicate lines of description are not to be shown on external documents.

Parameters

0-3

A numeric parameter that can be omitted (it defaults to "1").

Import the whole description, if a word lays over the end of a line it will be will moved on to beginning the next line. Or, effect all of the Import External Document flags.

1-3

Apply the change to description 1 to 3.

D/F

A text parameter that can be omitted (it defaults to "D").

D

Import descriptions.

F

Import External Document flag. The expression imported should equate to one of two values:

Y

Yes, Description included on external documents.

N

No, Description on internal documents only.

word-delimiters

A text parameter that can be omitted (it defaults to "standard delimiters").

A list of characters to use to delimit words when importing the whole description or notes as a block. If a word would span from one line to another then the import will look back until a delimiter character is found, the word from that point onwards would then be placed on the next line.

If delimiters are not provided then the standard delimiters minus brackets '()' (as defined in the " Reports & Settings" for searches) will be used.

If you need to delimit by commas (',') then you should type an upper case 'C' instead, as commas are used to divide parameters.

Value

A text value whose typical size is 30 characters.
