Stock Adjustments can be done for a variety of reasons. Examples might include Annual Stock Check, Rolling Stock Check, Stock Error and Stock Write-Off. You can then use this information to report on the adjustments made by category, draw conclusions from the reporting and make any improvements to your internal procedures to tighten up the stock control if necessary.
Go to " Stock Control Movements".
- Press <A> and <Enter>.
- Press <Up Arrow>.
- Enter a code for the Adjustment Category, e.g. 'STO'.
- If the "Category" does not exist, press <Shift+F10> and enter a relevant description for your Adjustment Category, e.g. 'Items Stolen'.
- Press <Esc> and choose [Accept].
- Continue with the Stock Adjustment as normal.
