How do I prevent specific jobs appearing in Platinum Online?

This article explains how to prevent Workshop jobs with a specific status from appearing in Platinum Online.

This may be useful to prevent jobs such as those you may have flagged as Awaiting Warranty Credit or Cancelled from being visible to your technicians.
- Go to " Reports & Settings Maintenance Options System Administrator Module Settings"
- Select " Workshop Add or Edit Job Status" (alternatively go to the "Status" filed within an existing job and press <Ctrl+F1>).
- Click [List] to amend the settings for an existing job status or click [Add] to add a new status.
- On the [Settings] tab change "Visible to technicians?" to 'No'.
 | Once a job changes to this status, either manually or automatically, the technician will not be able to view or amend the job details within Platinum Online and may be unable to clock off if they are actively working on the job when the status is changed. |
- Click [Done] and [Accept].
