More Information
The first thing you need to do is create a mask heading for Sales Prospecting.
Go to " Reports & Settings Maintenance Options System Administrator Platinum Settings".
- Locate a spare mask heading, in this example we shall use slot '9'.
- Over-type the word "Spare" with "Prospects".
- Press <Esc>.
Next you need to set the system security for the Sales Prospecting module.
Go to " Reports & Settings Maintenance Options System Administrator Platinum Settings Security & Print Configuration"
- Press <Down Arrow> until you find the Sales Prospecting module, which is shown as 'SXPSP'.
- Under the heading of "Mask No.", enter '9' (This will correspond to the heading created in the steps above).
- Under the heading of "Security", enter '5'.
- Press <Esc>.
Finally, you need to set the relevant security level for Sales Prospecting for the users that have access to it to prevent them from seeing each others prospects.
Go to " Reports & Settings Maintenance Options System Administrator Add or Edit Users".
- Enter the name of the user you want and select [Search].
- Select [Edit].
- Navigate to the [Security] tab.
- On here you will see a list of Platinum Modules on the left hand side of the display, with a security level next to it. By default this is set to '9' which equates to full access. Likewise, a setting of '0'.
- Select "Prospects" field and set that to a '1'.
- Now Select [Done] and [Accept] to save changes.
- Press <Close> to exit.
