How do I create a bank account on Platinum?

To add a new Bank Account go to " Nominal Ledger Maintenance Options Centre Maintenance Add or Edit Nominal Centres"
- Click [List] to view your existing centres.
- Decide on a suitable centre to use and click [Add].
 | You will not be able to enter a Nominal Centre which is greater than Z950. If you wish your centre to sit in this section e.g. you wish to enter a centre such as Z992A, please Contact your Platinum dealer or our support team on 0116 230 1500 or by using our website support contact page for assistance. |
- Enter the centre to use e.g. 'Z908'.
- Enter a description for the bank account e.g. Natwest Savings
- Select 'Asset/Liability' from the "B/S Indicator" drop down.
- Select 'Bank Reconciled' at the "Reconciled?" drop down.
- Click [Done] and [Accept].
 | If you wish to use the currency converter to convert amounts to your base currency you may enter the "Currency" code for the centre e.g. 'EUR'. Please note all transactions within Platinum must be in your base currency and must be reconciled in your base currency e.g. Sterling. |
