How do I check my current financial period?

Summary

The Financial Period in Platinum is the current calendar month for which you are producing management accounts.

To view your current Financial Period, go to " Reports & Settings Set New Financial Period".

• The "Current Financial Period" is displayed at the top of the screen.
• The "New Financial Period" is the highlighted month. If you have not selected a different month this will be the same as the Current Financial Period.

The Financial Period should only be altered as part of the Month End procedure.

When you reach the last month of the Financial Year you will need to carry out a Year End.

You will not be able to select months ahead of the last month shown here until this process has been carried out. However you may continue working on a day to day basis as transactions are held in the month they relate to.

Click [Cancel] to exit without making any change to the Current Financial Period.
