The following article explains how to create or edit a job status. This feature allows you to make the Job Planning screen easier to read.

Creating\Editing a Status
Go to " Logistics Management Maintenance Options Add or Edit Jobs Statuses".
You can also press <Shift+F10> from the "Status" field when in a job. |
- To add a new status, click the [Add] or to edit an existing Status, search for the status you wish to edit and press [Edit].
- Type in a 3 Character Code for the Job Status (e.g. 'RTI' for 'Ready To Invoice') and press <Enter>.
- Enter a description for the status (e.g. 'Ready To Invoice') and press <Enter>.
- Click [Done] to finish.
Adding Colours to Statuses
You can indicate the Status of each job on the Planning Screen using colours.
- From the "Job Status Properties", go to the "Colours" Section.
- Click the box next to "Text" or "Background". You will see a drop-down box and you can choose a suitable colour for the job status.
Some Colour Suggestions for Statuses
There are 4 standard statuses that can be set, they are:
- Default Job Entry Status
- Default Invoice Status
- Post Document Scan Status
- Post Invoice Status
These are set in " Reports & Settings Maintenance Options System Administrator Platinum Settings".
- Default Job entry status
- 'PRI' - PRICING REQUIRED - Yellow\Black
- Job delivered status
- 'RTI' - PRICED READY TO INVOICE + AWAITING POD - Blue
- Post document scan status
- 'POD' - READY TO INVOICE + POD SCANNED - Green
- Post invoice status
- 'INV' - INVOICED - Red
This will mean that any jobs that need work would be Black\Yellow or Blue, jobs that are Ready to Invoice are Green and jobs that are finished (Invoiced) are Red.
