How can I replace my missing Platinum icons?

If the Platinum icons are missing from your Desktop or the "Start" menu, you will need to either; click here to download the Platinum update file (Platwin.exe);or go to " My Computer Platinum drive (typically P:) SX SXUtils".

1. Double click on either "Platwin.exe" that has been downloaded, or "SXSetup.exe" located in the " My Computer Platinum drive (typically P:) SX SXUtils" folder.
   • If a message appears asking if you want to run the software, click [Run].
2. A screen should appear saying "Welcome to the Platinum Setup Wizard". Click the [No] button as you do not want to update Platinum.
3. The next screen will present you with a number of options.
   • Click to Tick the □ next to "Install Platinum shortcuts" and click [Next>].
4. A Green status bar will start and when complete you will get the message "Installation completed successfully at "Time" on "<Date>". Your Platinum icons will now be installed on the Desktop.
5. Click [Close] to close the installation program.
