The following article explains how to use your current Platinum invoice logo in Word for use as letter headed paper.

More Information

As there are two popular versions of Office, Microsoft Office 2003 and Microsoft Office 2007.

Microsoft Office 2003 - Word 2003

  • Open MS Word.
  • Click on "Insert" -> "Picture" -> "From File".
  • This will open an "Insert Picture" browse box. Go to "My Computer" -> go to the Platinum installation folder E.g. 'P:\Sx\SXCO1'.
  • Here you will see a file called 'NAMEADD.PNG'. Click this file and click the [Insert] button. You will see the letterhead image appear.
  • Click "File" -> "Save As" and enter a suitable file name E.g. 'Company Letterhead.doc' in the "File Name" box.
  • Then select a location for the file to save to in the "Save In" at the top if the "Save As" window. E.g. My Documents so you can access it for later use.
  • Click the [Save] button save.

  • Open MS Word.
  • Click on "Insert" -> "Picture".
