This article explains how to set up a Print Record within Platinum to copy on to itself to give two (or more) copies.
Details
Get into "Systems" -> "Reports & Parameters" -> "Maintenance Options" -> "System Administrator" -> "Printing Parameters"
- At the "Print Record:", type the number of the Print Record you wish to copy and press <Enter>.
- In this example, we are going to use Print Record 01, but it is applicable to all Print Records.
- Once you are actually in the required Print Record, press <F8> This opens a Pop-Up Window entitled "Copy Output Records".
- You now have 5 boxes available, labelled 1-5.
- If you just want one copy of the Print Record, then type the Print Record you chose above in box 1. In this example, 01 is used.
- If you want two extra copies, then put the above Print Record in box 2,3 and so on.
- When finished, press <Ok>
- Tap <Esc> and click <Accept>
- Please be aware that from this point on, all documents sent to the Print Record you have amended will always print the number of copies you have set.
