Summary
To be able to sell either a stocked Item or a free typed text item over the counter within the platinum software.
Additional information
To be able to sell items out form over the counter in the platinum software, go to "Stock Control" -> "Point Of Sale"
Sale information
- The System will automatically set the account to be the Default cash sale account. You will need to change this to the customer who the parts are being sold to.
- At "Customer" type in the customers account code if known. If unknown press <C+F1> to search on the customers name.
- At "Discount" Enter the sale discount percentage. This discount applies to the whole sale. A discount can be applied to an individual item in its "Item Properties" by pressing Template:Keypress.
Sale Items
- On the "Stock Code" enter in a stock code of a part you know.
- If the part number is unknown press <C+F1> to search on the parts description.
