What Sales Prospecting reports are available?

Summary

There are a variety of standard Sales Prospecting reports available to you.

If you do not have any of the reports listed below please ensure your Platinum system is up to date by following this link to update your system: Downloading a Platinum update

More Information

Sales Prospecting reports are a combination of System & User reports, accessed via the Report Generator.

Go to " Sales Prospecting Prospecting Report Generator".

  • Click [List] to see all available reports. Each system issued report is explained below.
Reports issued as standard will be listed along with any specific reports you may have had customised for your business.

The default "Output" options are:

  • 'S' - 'Screen'. Once on screen you may click [Print] to output to your default or chosen print record. If you wish to output the report to Excel; change the mode at the bottom left of your screen from "Document" to "Table". Press <Ctrl+P> to output to Excel. Once in Excel you are advised to save the result as an Excel Workbook into your chosen location.
  • 'P' - 'Print'
  • 'F' - 'File'
  • 'T' - 'Table/Chart'
  • 'Q' - 'Select Print, Screen or File'. Please Note: Not all reports are suitable to output direct to file using this option.
  • 'I' - 'Internal'. Please Note: This mode is for reports which are used internally by the module and are not suitable for users to run manually.
  • Select a report and click [Start].

Activity Report

  • Enter the period to display.
  • Enter a range of "Salesperson" codes or leave blank for all.
  • Click [Start].

This option will display contacts made in a period and will show up to 10 lines of contact notes.

Unit Interests by Model

  • Enter the "Interest date" range to view interests recorded since that date.
  • Enter a range of "Salesperson" codes or leave blank for all.
  • Click [Start].

This will list all unit interests registered since the specified date.

Prospect List - Brief Details/Address Details

  • Enter a range of "Salesperson" codes or leave blank for all.
  • Click [Start].

The Brief report will list brief contact information for the salesperson's prospects i.e. name, phone number, fax number and email address.

The Address report will list the above plus the 5 address lines for the salesperson's prospects.

Contacts by Period

  • Select a "Contact type" using the dropdown or leave blank for all.
  • Specify the {DataPrompt|Salesperson}} code or leave blank for all.
  • Enter the contact date range.
  • Click [Start].

This option will list contacts by salesperson and type for the period.

Contacts Overdue

  • Click [Start].

This report will list all overdue contacts by salesperson.

Projected Sales

  • Specify the expected sale date period.
  • Specify the percentage of prospect budgets you anticipate to reach.
  • Click [Start].

This report is based on you having completed the "Anticipated sale date" and "Upper budget" fields on the prospect Unit Interests tab.

Prospect Details

This report will provide an overview of each prospect including their customer account record, if present.

Prospect check email/website

This report will list all prospects and will show their email and website addresses for you to review.

Graphical Reports

Reports where the "Output" style is 'T' will present the data in graphical format. These reports range from displaying Projected Sales to Outcome of a campaign.
