USB connectivity
- Make sure the USB cable is connected.
- Make sure the Clover device is connected to a network as well as USB. The Clover device still needs network connectivity for verifying payments.
- On the Clover device, open the [More Tools] app
- Search for 'USB Pay Display'
- Install the 'USB Pay Display' app.
- Go back to the home screen and open the [USB Pay Display] app.
- Setup the Catalyst Payment Service:
- Run 'Catalyst Payment Service Settings' from the Start Menu
- Click [Stop Service] (you can safely ignore any message about the service not running)
- For "Connection Type": Select 'Clover USB Pay App' (this is the default)
- There are no other settings for USB connectivity
- Click [Save]
- Click [Start Service]
- Click [Close]
The Catalyst Payment Service is now ready to receive payment requests from Platinum.
