Finding the Prospect to Edit
There are two ways to find the prospect you want to edit:
- A "Search" where you can type key words to find the prospect to edit.
- A "Prospect List" of prospects likely to be of interest to you, either because you have an appointment with them in the Personnel Planning diary or because you are due to contact them.
Search
To search for the prospect you want to edit:
- At "Prospect:", enter one or more key words to help find
- Press the search icon button.
- Select the prospect you want to edit from the list of results.
Prospect List
To edit one of the prospects on the "Prospect List", select the line of the prospect you want to edit.
Editing the Prospect
The prospect can be amended in the following ways:
Details
To update the general contact details for the prospect:
- At "Name", enter the name of the prospect.
- At "Address", enter the address of the prospect.
- At "Telephone", enter the telephone number of the prospect.
- At "Mobile", enter the mobile number of the prospect.
- At "Email", enter the email address of the prospect.
- At "Website", enter the URL of the prospect's website.
- Once you have finished editing, press the [Submit] button to save the changes.
Notes
There are five lines of notes but how they are configured is unique to your system:
- Enter the notes for the prospect.
- Once you have finished editing, press the [Submit] button to save the changes.
General Notes
You can append notes to the prospect's general notes by:
- At "Notes to add", enter the notes you would like to add to prospect's general notes.
- Press the [Add Note] button.
Media
- You can edit the media attached to the prospect. Click here to find out how.
Contacts
This list shows the recent contacts that have been made with the prospect as well as when the next contact is due, if applicable.
- To view a specific contact, select that prospect from the list.
- Follow these instructions to add a new contact to this prospect.
Interests
This list shows the interests assigned to the prospect within each interest category. To assign or unassign an interest:
- Select the category of the interest on the list.
- Check or uncheck the box next to the interest you want to assign/unassign.
- Press the [Submit] button.
