Automatic journals, bank postings which have been reconciled and journals which have been processed through the nominal month end will be fixed and may not be edited.

More Information

Go to " Nominal Ledger Nominal Review"

  • Find the journal to edit.
The "Type" column will indicate whether the journal can amended.
  • Select the journal and click [Edit].
  • Amend the error e.g. correct a nominal centre, an amount or comment. You may also [Remove] a line of the journal if necessary.
  • Make sure the journal balances before clicking [Done]. You may not accept a journal which does not balance.
If the journal had a VAT element to it it is recommended that you remove all lines of the journal then click [Done]. This will remove the entire journal. Re-post the journal with the correct values and centres.
