Email Unsubscribe Text
You can set up standard text that is appended to the end of all emails sent from Platinum.
Setup
Go to " Reports & Settings Maintenance Options System Administrator Platinum Settings".
- Enter 'Email Unsubscribe Text' into "Search on:" and press the [Search] button.
- Double click the 'Email unsubscribe text' line on the list.
- At "Email unsubscribe text:", enter the text that you would like to appear at the end of all email sent from Platinum.
- Once you are done editing the text, press the [OK] button.
- Press the [Done] button and [Accept] the changes.
Adding an Email Address
It is possible to add a return email address to the text so that when viewed electronically, the customer can click a link which pops up a send email box defaulted to send to the email address specified by you. To do this, while editing the "Email unsubscribe text:":
- Press the [Insert email:].
- At "Email address:", enter the email address of your organisation or a specific email address that deals with marketing subscriptions.
- At "Subject:", enter a default subject for the emails; this is what you would like to receive as the subject.
- At "Replace words:", enter the words or phrase that you would like to show in place of the email address; these are the words that when clicked on, pop up the send email box.
- Press the [Insert] button to add the email address to the "Email unsubscribe text:".
- An html code segment will be inserted into the text. In fact, If you are feeling confident, you can manually enter other html elements to the text to style it however you like!
