Summary

This article explains how to create a new vehicle by copying an existing one.

More Information

If the vehicle you are creating a record for has previously been entered on your system you may copy the existing record. For example a previously sold vehicle returns in part exchange.

The copy function will save you time when entering the new record. This option is most suitable for creating records for used vehicles.

Go to " Unit Sales Add or Edit Vehicles".

  • Press [Add] to create a new record.
  • Press <F2> to get the next available stock code (Automatically Generated number).
  • Press <Ctrl+F10>.
  • Enter the "Stock number" of the vehicle to copy.
If you need to search for the vehicle press <Ctrl+F1> to use the vehicle search.
  • Click [Yes] to confirm you wish to copy the vehicle.
  • All relevant data will be copied.
  • Click [Done] and [Accept] to save the vehicle record.
