Platinum comes with a standard list of reorder formulae so that when you run a reorder report, you can automatically calculate what stock you need to order. In some instances, you may need to write your own formula. The following explains how to do this.

Go to " Stock Control Reordering Add or Edit Formulae Formula Amendments".

• In "Formula Code :", type in a code for the new formula and press <Enter>.
• In "Description :", give your new formula a suitable description and then press <Enter>.
• This now takes you into the formula editing section where you can write your own formula.

For detailed help on the variables and functions available, press<F11>.

• Once you have written your new formula, press <Esc> and <Accept> to save.
