Setting service due dates from the workshop

Summary

When a Workshop job is invoiced the system can automatically fill in the last and next service dates on the vehicle record.

More Information

When creating a Workshop job enter the word 'Service' or 'Serv' in the "Description:" field on the Job [Details] page. When the job is invoiced the system will auto fill the service dates on the vehicle record.

• The "Last Service" will be set to the date the invoice is raised.
• The "Service Due" date will be set to be 1 year on from the last service or, if enough history is available, will be calculated based on all previous service dates and annual mileage.
