Summary
The following article explains how to set up Stock Price Codes. These can be used to specify price lists for a customer to use, such as Trade, where items are at a different retail price to the standard.

Creating a New Price Code
Go to "Stock Control" -> "Maintenance Options" -> "Price, Group & Depot Codes" -> "Add or Edit Price Ranges".
- Press <F6> to add a new Price Code.
- Enter a three character code and a suitable description e.g. 'TRA' and 'Trade Price List'.
- Click [Done] and [Accept] to save the Price Code.
Applying the Price Code
Go to "Stock Control" -> "Add or Edit Stock Items".
- Find the stock code you want to add to the Price List.
- Press <F5> to edit the item.
- Press <F8> or click on the [Prices] tab, to edit the prices.
- Press <F6> or Click [Add].
- Enter the Price Code e.g. 'TRA'.
- Press <Enter> once to enter the "V.A.T. exc. price" or:
- Press <Enter> twice to enter the "V.A.T. inc. price" for the Price Code.
- Press <Esc> or click [Done] and [Accept].
Applying the Price Code to Customers
Go to "Sales Ledger" -> "Customer File Maintenance" -> "Add or Edit Customers".
- Type in the Customer's "Name/Postcode/Account Code" on the "Search on:" field and click [Search] to bring the record up.
- Click [Edit] to edit the account in question.
- Click the [Stock] tab.
- Enter the new Price Code in the "Price Code" field.
- Press <Esc> and [Accept].
