How can I replace my missing Platinum icons?

If the Platinum icons are missing from your desktop and\or the "Start" menu, you will need to either; click HERE to download the Platinum update file (Platwin.exe),Or go to " My Computer Platinum drive (typically P:) SX SXUtils".

1. Double click on either "Platwin.exe" that has been downloaded, or "SXSetup.exe" located in the " My Computer Platinum drive (typically P:) SX SXUtils" folder.
   • If a message appears asking if you want to run the software, click [Run].
2. A screen should appear saying."Welcome to the Platinum Setup Wizard",at this point click the [No] button as you do not want to update Platinum.
3. The next screen will be labelled "Choose Task" to which you will be presented with multiple options.
   • Click to Tick the □ next to "Install Platinum shortcuts" and click [Next>].
4. A Green status bar will start and when complete you will get the message "Installation completed successfully at on ". Your Platinum icons will now be installed on the desktop.
5. Click [Close] to close the install program.
