Summary
The following article explains how to create or edit task statuses in Tasks Outstanding.
More Information
Go to " Personnel Planning Tasks Outstanding".
- Either click [Add] or press <F6> to create a new task or highlight an existing task and click [Edit] or press <F5> to edit a task.
- Move the cursor to the "Status" field and press <Ctrl+F1> to bring up the Task Status Search window and press <F6> to create a new status. If you just want to edit an existing status, enter the name of the status and press <Enter> from the "Filter on" box, select the relevant status and click [Edit] or press <F5> to edit.
- Enter the code in the "Task Status" field.

- Enter a suitable description in the "Description" field for your "Status".

- There is also a 'Colours' section. This is optional but can be useful to make tasks stand out. Here you can set a "Text" and "Background" Colour.

- Finally press <Esc> and click [Accept] or click [Done] to save the details.
