How can I replace my missing Platinum icons?

If the Platinum icons are missing from your desktop and "Start" menu, you will need to either; click here to download the Platinum Update file (Platwin.exe),Or go to " My Computer Platinum Drive (typically P:) SX SXUtils".

1. Double click on either "Platwin.exe" that has been downloaded, or "SXSetup.exe" located in the SXUtils Folder.
   • If a message appears asking if you want to run the software, click [Run].
2. A screen should appear saying.Welcome to the Platinum Setup Wizard,at this point click the [No] button as you do not want to update Platinum.
3. The next screen will be labelled Choose Task to which you will be presented with multiple options.
   • Tick the □ next to "Install Platinum shortcuts" and click [Next>].
4. A Green bar will shoot across and you will get the message "Installation completed successfully at on . Your Platinum icons will be installed on the desktop.
5. Click [Close] to close the install program.
