Summary

There maybe instances when you login to your payroll system you get the message 'A user is already registered using the Payroll'. This article explains how to resolve this issue.

More Information

The reason for this message is the fact that there is a locked user in Platinum in the payroll system and as the payroll will only allow 1 user to log in this can cause and issue.

This can be caused by power cuts, PC crashes or lost network connection. These locked users need to be cleared the same way as a normal locked user, help to do so can be found in this knowledge base article Here.
