Short Cut Keys

Dates in Platinum have special keys available when you are accepting them.

• '=' - Enter the user date.
• '-' - Previous day to the user date.
• '+' - Day after the user date.
• 'M' - First day of the current month.
• 'H' - Last day of the current month.
• 'Y' - First day of the current year.
• 'R' - Last day of the current year.

If you press the <Enter> key on a blank date, the user date will be used and accepted. If you press the <F1> key the system date will be used and accepted. The calendar/data calculator is available by pressing the <Shift+F2> key and pressing <Ctrl+F2> will blank out the date.

If you enter a day beyond the end of the month then it will be automatically substituted for the last day of that month. Eg. 31/06/2003 will be converted to 30/06/2003. The month and year elements of the date will be filled in if you leave them blank. Eg. If the year is 2003 and you enter 30/06, the date entered would be 30/06/2003. You may use any of these separators '-', '/', '\' and '.' to separate the different elements of the date.
