The following article outlines how to do a search for a customer you may not know the account code for from anywhere in Platinum
Additional Information
When in Platinum anywhere you can get to an account code field you can get to a search. This is done by either clicking the "Magnifying Glass" button on the Platinum screen (next to exit, proceed etc) or by pressing <Shift+F1>
A search box will appear with a "Search on" field. This is where you enter the name you which to search for eg: Jones for Mr Jones. This will bring up a list of all the accounts that include the word "Jones".
 | If you need to search for something other than the name, for example the telephone number this can be entered on the "Filter on" box. This searches a wider range of fields. Please note due to this these searches can take a little longer. |
