Summary
You may set up a customer loyalty scheme within Platinum which allows you to give customers a loyalty card which they can use to earn points and subsequently redeem those points as discounts on future purchases.

Customer Loyalty in Platinum
The Customer Loyalty module currently works with the Stock Control's "Point of Sale". See How do I set up a Customer Loyalty Scheme? for information on setting up the scheme.
Point of Sale
To redeem points from a Loyalty Card in "Point of Sale":
- Enter all the items the customer is buying in the normal way.
- Before pressing [Checkout], scan the customer's loyalty card using the barcode scanner. The customer's name and the number of points available to them will be displayed.
- The number of points that are going to be earned from this sale will be displayed above the "Total:" in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
- Click [Checkout] to move to the "Payments" screen.
- Click "Loyalty Points" to pay all or part of the outstanding balance using the points the customer has previously earned.
- Points acquired for this sale will be loaded onto the Loyalty Card after the sale has been completed.
Click [Post] to complete the sale as normal.
