How do I print a job card?

Summary

This article explains how to print out a job card in the Workshop Management system. These Job Cards can hold relevant information about the jobs to be completed by the workshop technicians.

Printing Out a Job Card

Go to " Workshop Management Workshop Diary".

  • The job should be shown on today's date, but if not, press <Ctrl+F1> to search for the job. Fill in the search criteria to get to the relevant Job. Click on [Search]. This will list Jobs that are in the search criteria. Click on the job that you want.
  • Click on [Edit]. This will take you to the Workshop Job Properties.
  • Once in the properties of the desired Job, press <Shift+F9>.
  • This will then print out the job card for that particular job.

Printing Out multiple Job Cards

Go to " Workshop Management Job Reports Job Reports Print Multiple Job Card".

  • In "Jobs Starting:" field, enter in the start date of the first job you wish to print.
  • In the "To:" field, enter the date of the last date you want to print.
  • In the "Status:" field, enter the status code for the job status's you want to print, or leave blank for all status's.
  • Pressing <F2> will produce the report.


More Information

  • The Workshop Job Card can contain various additional information about the job, which can be entered in the Detailed Description.
  • The Job card can print out barcodes for the job number and technicians labour lines that can be used in conjunction with Real Time Labour logging, that automatically records technicians times to a job.
  • It is also possible to configure a customized workshop job card to display a check list which the Technicians can go through.
