Summary
The following article explains the correct method of taking a deposit against a workshop job when in Platinum.
More Information
While in the " Workshop Workshop Diary" section during the process of creating a workshop job (see [Creating Workshop Jobs]|Here] for more details).
- Create a new workshop job or search for an existing job and fill out the relevant details (see Here for more details).
- Next press <F7> to bring up the payments box.
- Click [Add] to add a payment.
- Enter the required payment amount and method and click [Post].
Tip: If you would like a receipt be sure to put a tick in the "Print Receipt" box by left clicking it |

- Click [Yes] on the "Leave the amount unpaid" Box.
- Click [Yes] on the "Do You want to log the payment in the till?" box.
This will log the required payment against the job, and this process can be repeated as many times as required.
