Summary

The following article explains how to copy an existing stock code for creating a new item.

Additional Information

Go to "Stock Control" -> "Add or Edit Stock Items". This will take you to the stock search screen. Search for the existing stock item or create a new item, press <F5> or click [Edit] to edit the item.

  • Move the cursor to the "Stock:" box and press <Shift+F9>.
  • Move the cursor to the "New Stock Code:" prompt and enter in the new stock code to copy the existing details to, press <Enter>.
  • Amend the description of the stock code and any other relevant details to match the new item.
  • Press <Esc> and [Accept] to save the new stock code.
