Summary
The following article outlines how to to alter your Platinum payroll Government Parameters
Additional Information
 | WARNING: Make sure no other users are in the Payroll system |
From your Payroll Main Menu Select:
- Go to Payroll Parameters/Maintenance
- Then go to Payroll Parameters
 | Note: If the system warns you other users are in the system, make sure no one else is in the Payroll system and select YES to continue |
- Government Parameters
- Tax bands
- Over type the existing upper an lower limits with the ones outlined in the email from Catalyst Software Support (If you have not received this email contact Software Support on support@catalyst-uk.com or call 0116 2301500).
| Note: Leave Tax Rate 40% set to a zero upper limit, as the system will automatically tax earnings at 40% if they exceed the upper earnings limit |
- The basic rate should still be 22% and the Overriding Regulatory Limit should still be 50% (K Codes).
- Tap <Esc> once you have entered the new bands.
