Summary
This article describes how use Vehicle Interests in Sales Prospecting.
The idea behind the concept is to store information about the vehicle, that the prospect is interested in. The information is then complied into a quick comprehensive list of vehicles "Prospect Vehicle Interests" that are in stock, which the sales staff can use.
This option can be used if you have the vehicle sales module and you have assigned vehicle interests to your prospects. From here you can record a contact with a prospect and view a list of available vehicles of the model they are interested in.
Details
Go to Sales Prospecting -> Prospect Vehicle Interests.
- The screen displayed will list any prospects interested in any models of vehicle. You may click on a column heading to re-sort the data into that order e.g. click on the [Model] column to sort the list into all prospects interested in the same model.
- The “Stk” column indicates how many “In Stock” vehicles of this model are on the vehicle file.
- When a prospect is highlighted, click on [Prospect] on the right of the screen to look at their details and/or to add contact records.
- Alternatively click on [Vehicles] to list the in stock vehicles. Highlight any vehicle and click on [View] to see further details about it i.e. reg date, previous owners, colour etc.
- Tap <Esc> when you are ready to exit these screens.
