Summary
Attributes can be divided into Categories and these categories can made mandatory so that one of the attributes in the category has to be chosen.
- Customer Attributes
- Supplier Attributes
- Stock Attributes
- Workshop Job Types
- Sales Prospecting Interests
- Vehicle Features
More Information
Set Up
While editing an attribute go to the "Parameters" tab and from "Category:" use <Shift+F10> to edit that category.
- From here you will need to move to the "Parameters" tab again and set "Mandatory?:" to 'Yes'.
Using
While amending an item from a "Property" screen that has Attributes (see above) and one (or more) of the available categories is mandatory, Platinum will check that you have allocated at least one attribute against any category that is mandatory.
Should any mandatory category not have allocated attributes/types/interests you will be given the opportunity to allocate before any changes are saved.
