More Information
To show a technician as having left, how you should go about this will depend on how your technicians are set up.
If you are entering the technicians times manually, then please follow this process:
Go to " Workshop Maintenance Options Technicians Labour Rates Add or Edit Labour Codes".
- Press [List] and find the technician in the list.
- Highlight this technician and press [Edit].
- Move to the "Leaving Date:" and enter the date that the technician left. From this date forward, the technician's hours will be excluded from the available hours in the Diary. Do not change the hours that the technician worked since this will upset historic reporting.
If the "Leaving Date:" is greyed out and you cannot edit it, this is because the technician has a "User" shown against it. See the next paragraph for the process to show them as having left. |
- Press <Done> and [Accept] the changes.
If you are using Platinum Online so that the technicians are logging themselves on and off jobs, then they will have a Platinum user set up, and you will have to go to " Reports & Settings Maintenance Options System Administrator Add or Edit Users".
- Find the user for that technician.
- Set the "Leaving Date" to the date that they left.
- Set the "Active?" to 'No'.
- Press <Done> and [Accept] the changes.
