More Information
Adding Signature Disclaimers / Types
You can add your own custom disclaimers and have them appear in the dropdown when adding a signature as follows:
- Go to " Reports & Settings Maintenance Options System Administrator Groups, Types and Categories Add or Edit Signature Types".
- Press <F6> or [Add].
- In "Signature type", enter the code for the disclaimer.
- In "Description", enter a brief description for the disclaimer.
- Press <Esc> then [Accept] to accept your changes.
The new disclaimer will appear in Platinum Online the next time you log in. If you are already logged in, you will need to log out and back in again.
Setting the Default Signature Disclaimer / Type
You can set a default disclaimer that will be selected automatically for each module with a Media Manager in Platinum Online.
- Go to " Reports & Settings Maintenance Options System Administrator Platinum Settings".
- Search for 'Signature'.
- Find the module for which you want to set a default, and press <F5> on "Default signature type".
- Enter the code of the disclaimer you want to be the default selected option, or alternatively press <Ctrl+F1> to search for a disclaimer if you don't know the code.
- Press [OK], then <Esc> and accept your changes.
The new default disclaimer will be set in Platinum Online the next time you log in. If you are already logged in, you will need to log out and back in again.
