Summary

More Information

Go to " Logistics Management Job Planning".
Creating a Load
Press <Shift+F7> from the Job Planning screen.
- Press <F2> to assign the next unused load number.
- Record any relevant "Notes", e.g. 'Long Haul'.
- Enter the load date if applicable. You may leave this field blank by using your arrow key to move over the field.
- You may allocate an "Area" code or leave this field blank.
- Press <Ctrl+F1> and click [List] to select from existing areas or click [Add] to add a new area code.
- Enter a "Job Area" (max 3 characters), e.g. 'NW'.
- Enter a "Description", e.g. 'North West'.
- Click [Done] and [Accept].
- Enter a "Driver", "Vehicle" and "Trailer" to assign to the load. You may leave these details blank if you do not have all the information to hand.
- Press <F1> or <Shift+F1> to scroll through existing drivers, vehicles or trailers or <Ctrl+F1> to search for a record.
- You may assign a "Sub Contractor" to the load. Leave the field blank if no sub contractor is required.
- Enter the account code for the sub contractor or press <Ctrl+F1> to search for a supplier code.
- You may specify the load details using the fields at the bottom of the screen, e.g. "Max. Pallets".
When all relevant details have been completed, press <Esc> and [Accept] to save the load.
- Press [Esc] to return to the Planning screen.
