Summary

This article explains how to change a Platinum Password.

More Information

Platinum passwords are case sensitive and you will need to use a combination of characters, numbers and symbols in order to get a score high enough. Repeating characters will lower the score.
The password must contain a maximum of 8 characters.

About Platinum

This method requires you to know the existing Platinum password and is intended for users to be able to change their own password.

Go to " Help About Platinum" and select the [Login] tab.

  • Select [Set new Platinum Password].
  • For "Old password" enter the existing password.
  • For "Password" enter the new password for the user (Remember that passwords are case-sensitive).
  • For "Confirm" enter the new password again.
  • Select [Done] and [Accept] to finalise the change.

System Administrator

This method does not require you to know the existing Platinum password but you must have system administrator rights.

Go to " Reports & Settings Maintenance Options System Administrator Add or Edit Users".

  • Enter the name of the user for whom you wish to change the Password and select [Search].
  • Select the user to edit by pressing [Edit].
  • For "Password" enter the new password for the user (Remember that passwords are case-sensitive).
  • For "Confirm" enter the new password again.
  • Select [Done] and [Accept] to finalise the change.
The date a password was last changed can be found by scrolling right on the " Add or Edit Users" list.
