Summary
This article explains how to show that a technician has left so that the hours available for that technician in the workshop diary are reduced giving an accurate amount of available hours, which will help not only in preventing double booking available time, but will also make sure that your productivity and efficiency figures are correct.
More Information
- To show a technician as having left, you will need to go to " Systems Workshop Maintenance Options Technicians Labour Rates Add or Edit Labour Codes".
- This will take you to the "Add or Edit Labour Codes" screen:
- Press [List] and find the technician in the list.
- Highlight this technician and press [Edit].
- Move to the "Leaving Date:" and enter the date that the technician left. From this date forward, the technician's hours will be excluded from the available hours in the Diary. Do not change the hours that the technician worked since this will upset historic reporting.
- Press <Done> and [Accept] the changes.
