Summary
This article explains how to search for a Sales or Purchase Centre.
More Information
Centres are used in various places throughout Platinum. In the following example, searching for a centre is going to be performed in " Purchase Ledger Postings". For help on how to post an Invoice in Purchase Ledger Postings, see Posting Purchase Invoices.
- Post the Purchase Invoice as shown in Posting Purchase Invoices then, at the "Centre" field, press <Ctrl+F1>.
- At the " Purchase Centre Search" dialogue box, in the "Search on:" field, type a description of the centre you are looking for; e.g. if you are posting a Parts Invoice, search for 'stock'.
- This will return a list of all matches with 'stock' in the description.
- Select the one that you want and click [Choose].
- If a Centre doesn't exist for the description you are looking for, then it can be created by following this link How do I Create a Sales or Purchase Centre?.
