Summary
The following article explains how to use Stock Applications in Platinum.
More Information
Wherever you can search for a stock code, you can use the [Advanced] option to search for Stock Applications. This shows you all stock items that fit the product or model you're searching on.
Configuration
Go to " Stock Control Maintenance Options Stock Applications". Here you will see a list of current applications.
- To create a new application, press <Add>.
- In the "Application" field, type a code for the application. This could be a vehicle model, or any other appropriate code.
- In the "Description" field, give your application a suitable name.
- Now select the [Stock] tab.
- Add all the stock items that you want to associate with this application.
- When you've finished adding stock items, click <Done> and <Accept> to save changes.
In Use
Anywhere where you can search for a stock code in Platinum, pressing <F9> or clicking <Advanced> brings up an advanced search range.
- From here, entering your application code in the "Application" field and then clicking "Search" will bring up a list of all stock items relating to that application code.
