The following article explains how you can supersede an account in Platinum.
More Information
There may be times when you need to supersede either a customer or a supplier account. This may be for several reasons, e.g. incorrectly created account code or duplicated account code.
The following will show how to supersede an account on the Sales Ledger. The process for the Purchase Ledger is much the same.
- Go to " Accounts\System Sales Ledger Customer File Maintenance Add or Edit Customers".
- At "Search On:", enter the name of the customer you wish to supersede.
- Once found, press <F5> to edit the customer.
- Select the [Invoicing] tab.
- At the "Superseded by:" field, enter in the account code of the customer to supersede to.
- Click [Done] and <Accept> to save the record.
