Summary

This article explains how to transfer parts from the KTM EPC (Electronic Parts Catalogue) into Platinum.

Once you have chosen your part or parts from the KTM EPC, there are various areas in Platinum from which you can import directly:

If this facility is not already set up for you, Contact your Platinum dealer or our sales team on 0116 230 1500 or by using our website sales contact page.

Creating a Parts list in the KTM EPC

Once you have logged into the KTM Dealer Net:

Go to " Parts & Accessories".

  • Search for the relevant part numbers and add them to the Basket.
  • Continue adding any relevant parts until you have your required items.
  • Go to " Parts & Accessories Orders Current Basket/Last Order", click the [Save 'In Progress'] button.
  • Go to " Unsent Orders".
  • Click the [Export to File] button next to the order you have just created.
  • This should then prompt you to save the parts list in the Platinum link folder.
    • The path for saving this file is usually 'C:\EPC\KTM'. For details on configuring this path, click here.
  • Alternatively you can export any orders you have already submitted to KTM :
    • Go to " Parts & Accessories Sent Orders".
    • Click the [Export to File] button next to the order you want to copy into Platinum.
    • This should then prompt you to save the parts list in the Platinum link folder.
      • The path for saving this file is usually 'C:\EPC\KTM'. For details on configuring this path, click here.

To Get the List into Platinum

  • Log into Platinum and do one of the following:
Stock Control
Go to " Stock Control Point of Sale".
  • Press <Alt+F6> to bring in your list of items.
Order Processing
Go to " Order Processing Purchase Ordering Add or Edit Purchase Orders" and create a new order.
  • Press <Alt+F6> to bring in your list of items.
Workshop
Go to " Workshop Workshop Diary" and get into the relevant Workshop Job. Once you are in the Invoice:
  • Press <Alt+F6> to bring in your list of items.
Unit Sales
Go to " Unit Sales Vehicle Sales Documents" and edit the relevant document and go to [Extras].
  • Press <Alt+F6> to bring in your list of items.
