Summary

This article outlines how to to alter your Platinum Payroll Tax Bands. Under normal circumstances, you should find that moving your payroll into the new tax year will implement these changes automatically.

You will need to make sure no other users are in the Payroll System.

Go to " Payroll Main Menu Payroll Parameters/Maintenance Payroll Parameters Government Parameters Tax bands".

  • Over type the existing upper and lower limits with the ones outlined in the email from Catalyst Software Support (If you have not received this email Contact your Platinum dealer or our support team on 0116 230 1500 or by using our website support contact page). This information is also available on the HMRC website in the Tax Bands section at:

  • The basic rate should still be 20% and the Overriding Regulatory Limit should still be 50% (K Codes).
  • Tap <Esc> once you have entered the new bands to save the changes.
