Summary
This article will explain what Job cleardown is and what Job cleardown does.

What does it do?
Job Clear down does what it suggest. This will not only delete the workshop job but it will Literally Cleardown information and history of a particular Job, or a range of Jobs. Do not use this if you only want to remove the job.
Do Not use Job cleardown if you wish to just remove old workshop jobs. It will remove all history of the workshop job! |
Where it it located?
Job Clear Down can be found in "Workshop Management" -> "Maintenance Option" -> "Job Cleardown". This will then pull up a screen where you can specify the Particular Job, or range of Jobs that you wish to cleardown.
- "Depot :" - Enter in a specific "Depot" if you wish to clear down a particular depot else leave blank.
- "Start at Job :" - Enter in a "Job Number" starting point.
- "End at Job :" - Enter in a "Job Number" ending point. All jobs between the starting and ending point will be cleardown, entering the same number for both will only remove that one Job Number.
- "Status of Jobs to Clear :" - Enter in a "Status" of a job to be more specific, else leave blank.
- "Cleardown from Account/Contact :" - Enter the starting range of customer's you wish to clear jobs down for.
- "To Account/Contact :" - Enter the ending range of contact's you wish to clear jobs down for. As with the "Start at Job :" entering the same Account/Contact for both will only remove jobs for that particular Account/Contact.
- "Clear Unpaid Jobs :" - This options simply states if Jobs have to be fully paid before they can be cleared down?
Remember any Jobs that are selected to be "Cleared Down" will not only be deleted but ALL the HISTORY of that job will be cleardown also. |
"Job Cleardown" CAN NOT be reversed! |
