Advanced

There are also additional fields for the following items that can be filled in but are not mandatory.

Current

Over a period of time trailers will be added and removed from the fleet. In order to hold historic information it is often useful to keep trailer records on file even after they are no longer used. Indicate here whether this trailer is currently available for work.

Usual

It is often the case that a driver is associated with a specific trailer. If this is the case you may enter the code for the driver usually associated with this trailer. Entering a driver code here will mean that when the trailer is allocated to a job or load, the driver will automatically also be allocated assuming that no driver has previously been set.

Sales Centre

Enter an optional sales centre to associate with this trailer. Generally this would be left blank and the information taken from the tractor unit or possibly the driver.

Mobile

Enter the number of the mobile phone usually kept in this trailer. Again, this would normally relate to the driver or possibly the tractor unit.
