Advanced
There are also additional fields for the following items that can be filled in but are not mandatory.
Current
Over a period of time vehicles are added and removed from the fleet. In order to hold historic information it is often useful to keep vehicle records on file even after they are no longer used. Indicate here whether this vehicle is currently available for work.
Usual
It is often the case that a driver is associated with a specific vehicle. If this is the case you may enter the code for the driver usually associated with this vehicle. Entering a driver code here will mean that when the vehicle is allocated to a job or load, the driver will automatically also be allocated assuming that no driver has previously been set.
Sales Centre
Enter an optional sales centre to associate with this vehicle. This is important from an accounts perspective to analyse the revenue for this vehicle.
Mobile
Enter the number of the mobile phone usually kept in this vehicle.
