Summary
The following article explains how to change the layout of your labels to allow you to change the positions of the information on the label and add more if required
Details
- Go into "Systems" -> "Stock Control" -> "Stock Labels" -> "Amend Labels".
- Press <F1> to take you to the required label in the list or you can enter the next label number in the sequence to create a new on. Then press <Enter> go into the labels details
General guidelines on Configuration
This takes into the page 1 of the settings for you selected label, this is made up of 5 pages. You can press <PGUP> and <PGDN> or <F3> and <F4> to go forward and backward through the pages.
There are 3 settings important to the positioning and style of info on a label:
- Line - This is the position of the item down the label.
- Column - This is the position of the item across the label.
- Style - This denotes the style of the printing of that line this can be set as follows.
- Normal - This will print a Normal sized print.
- Expanded - This will print double the width print with the same Height as Normal (Good for use on Prices).
- Compressed - This will print Half the width print with the same Height as Normal (Good for fields that contain a lot of info such as stock descriptions.
- Enhanced - This will print in bold.
The main two screens that refer to Changes in content are pages 2 and 3 these are changed as follows:

The only line to edit on this screen is Text line "Text Line 1". It is used for the Company name on the label this can be edited as required

The default settings include the following items:
- Stock code .
- The first description line for the stock code.
- The Stock location.
- A barcode for the part.
- The Price (Including VAT).
These items can be edited, added and removed as required using the guidelines above.
