Summary
The following article will explain how to print a unit label.
More Information
The system has a standard unit label that you may print. Before first using this option, you may wish to ensure that it defaults to your label printer.
Configuration
Go to " Reports & Settings Maintenance Options System Administrator Platinum Settings"
- At "Search on" enter 'label'.
- Click [Search].
- Select "Unit label report", then click [Edit].
If you are using the standard report you should see 'System' and 'LAB'.
- At "Print record" enter the print record number for your label printer e.g. '03'.
- To find a print record click into "Print record" and press <Ctrl+F1>.
- Click [Search].
- Select the label printer and click [Choose].
- Click [Done] and click [Accept].
If you have a custom unit label report you may find it has already been defaulted to your address label printer, as this is usually capable of printing larger labels than standard parts labels. |
Producing a label
Go to " Unit Sales Add or Edit Units".
- Find the unit for which you want to print the label.
- Press <F5> or click [Edit] to select the unit.
- Press <Shift+F5>. Your default unit label report code will be displayed toward the bottom of the screen.
- Press <F2> to print the label using the print record as configured above.
Prior to pressing <F2> you can press <Alt+P> to specify the print record you wish to use. |
